About Me

Currently traveling through Colombia with my lovely boyfriend on our motorcycles. I love eating new kinds of food, meeting new people, learning about different cultures/ways of living and everything that comes along with these things. I have a healthy appetite for making the best life for myself and others.

I’m on leave from my multiple jobs in the San Francisco-Bay Area which include working with preschool-aged children and working in a few restaurants and bakeries. Let’s just say it’s expensive to live there.

My life right now revolves around getting from one place to another, trying to learn Spanish, seeing as many cool things in between, and meeting cool people in between.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m living on the road and my current mobile home is my motorcycle, a 2012 Yamaha XT250. I Couchsurfed for the first time last year was blown away by how great this tool is for meeting generous, fun and kind-hearted people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Built To Spill, Neil Young, War On Drugs

The Jerk, Midnight Cowboy, Harold and Maude, Repo Man (1984)

Ham on Rye, The Jungle Effect

Freaks and Geeks, Handmaid’s Tale

NPR podcasts, TED Talks, Democracy Now, anything that reminds me that humans aren’t just thinking about Kim Kardashian’s butt.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work with kids and food back home in the Bay Area so let’s just say I have a lot of patience to learn and teach new things. I can create an art project or cook a meal out of nothing like MacGuyver. I also enjoy drawing and design and am trying to teach myself how to become more computer savvy with these sort of skills.

If you want to ride motorcycles, draw, paint, bake, cook, eat, skateboard, hike, exercise or whatever...lets link up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice healthy meal, lots of snacks and an ample amount of small talk. Snacks. Pancakes and biscuits on demand. Did I mention snacks.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Greece, Mexico, Philippines
