I like swamp ecosystems, Fall, northern harriers, and poetry. I enjoy rock climbing and hiking, but I my favorite thing is swimming in the ocean. I am easy going and I love dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing but I have always welcomed friends to crash on my sofa when they pass through town. I know others who have couchsurfed and I have heard so many great things about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are The Fantastic Plantet (a strange, French animated film), Tron, Clue (Tim Curry is one of my favorite actors), Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Bond movies.

I like all types of music, but especially Daft Punk, Heartless Bastards, David Bowie, and The Smiths.

My favorite book of all time is The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Kundera. I also love John Donne (The Flea is my favorite), Paulo Coelho, and Shakespeare.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Kenya and shared breakfast with lilac breasted rollers! They are a beautiful little bird, and I was inspired to study avian ecology from that encounter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to take a walk and point out birds! I'm great with the eastern species, but as I travel west, I hope to find people that can teach me the songs and markings of western birds.
