About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To embrace the absurdity of life.
-
I like wandering; I don't like maps. My aversion to planning has found me in some very interesting places and situations, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
When I graduated with a (super-employable) B.A. in English, I decided to embark on a solo backpacking adventure to anywhere the European train system could take me. From when I was returning stateside to what city I'd visit next, I planned absolutely nothing. it was the best decision I ever made.
Since then, I've moved to Seattle, Austin, the Portland area, and finally Chicago, where I'm currently working as a journalist after completing my master's degree.
I enjoy meeting people from all over, and I hope to give back to all my wonderful hosts in Europe by taking in some couchsurfers when life's a little less crazy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting travelers in Chicago, surfing when I find the means to explore. Hosting in the future.
