I have always been a seeker, wanting to experience life and discover myself. Favorite words: adventure, freedom, thriving, expansion, exhilarating. FYI, I don't know how to change my location, but I am based in Hamilton, Ontario Oct 2015.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to get involved with this community as I would like to as I am unable to hostess yet. I would love to live in a place that can host others. For now would love to continue meeting people as a guest or over coffee/movie.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not a complete list:
Whistler, BC - my spa colleague hosted me on her couch for a month in 2003, when I was still working in Whistler and needed a place for short term.
Northern Enland, Lake District: 1980, My friend and I stayed on a farm hosted by Rotary Club members.
South of France, 1980: stayed in living room floor.
I stayed at a fellow traveller's mom's house in Holland. Had just flew back from India along with a terrible cold. She nursed me back to health with camomile inhalations.
Have also enjoyed sleeping out in the square in front of a Spanish train station, a beach in La Paz, Mexico and also in the south of Spain.
Finally, I continue to enjoy couch surfing at my good friend's in Toronto, and my cousin-friend's in Kitchener.
I have also couchsurfed at my friend's in Horseshoe Bay - June 2013 and am couchsurfing/visiting right now a friend in Halifax - Oct 2015

Interests

I am drawn to perfect health, rejuvenation and wellbeing, natural beauty, languages, culture, travel, photography, videography, movies, internet marketing, personal and spiritual growth, LOA, well being, somatics and body movement patterns. spritual practices, developing relationships and community and human potential.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a movie list - I love period movies, dramas, historical, mysteries with many twists, quirky humour (I love Huckabees), documentaries and anything with a good script, compelling story and uplifting message.
I enjoy novies set in other cultures esp. Indian, middle eastern, southeast asia.
I enjoy many music styles: reggae, hip hop, funk, ambient, spiritual chanting and spa music - as long as it's not like elevator music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped over Niagara Falls and survived. (ha, ha)
One night in Paris a group of people gathered on the Seine on a barge and we drank wine and ate wine and cheese. Before the cops came..
I ended up at a week long silent meditation (my first) in McCloud Gang, India. It was an amazing setting.
I also recall sitting in a Sikh temple in the Kulu valley, India listening to spiritual chants. So beautiful.
I just lived 4 months in Mexico in 2 locations with million dollar views of the ocean and natural setting (2013)
