I am quiet but friendly and affectionate, tidy but with a messy head, busy but I have time for people. I travel for work and study mostly. I love hearing peoples stories. I also love cooking!

Je suis calme mais sympathique et affectueux, ordonné mais avec une tête désordonnée, occupé mais j'ai du temps pour les gens. Je voyage pour le travail et j'étudie surtout. J'adore entendre des histoires de peuples. J'aime aussi cuisiner!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a PhD researcher on crust-atmosphere coupling and carbon sequestration on palaeo-Mars, funded by the UK space agency and based at Glasgow University. I travel around a lot with my research but rarely have enough money for accommodation! I'm sociable, friendly, and hopefully fun to hang out with.

Je suis chercheur en doctorat en couplage croûte-atmosphère et séquestration du carbone sur paléo-Mars, financé par l'agence spatiale britannique et basé à l'Université de Glasgow. Je voyage beaucoup avec mes recherches mais j'ai rarement assez d'argent pour l'hébergement! Je suis sociable, sympathique et j'espère que c'est amusant de sortir.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Vienna for a week with a wonderful man who looked after me, for which I gave him my deep appreciation and thankfulness (see reference). We had a very pleasurable week together in each others company!

Music - I love classical music, both Western and Indian, but also have a diverse taste, from hardcore trance and club music, to electro swing, to jazz. Show me what you love and makes you bounce :)

Movies - The old black and white movies I adore (Casablanca is my all time fave!)

Books - I am a book omnivore.

I solo climbed Aiguille Verte once.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am aware that most of my travel is me accepting the kindness of strangers. I cannot host in Scotland usually.

I can share with you my stories, and genuinely like to listen to others tales and fragments of wisdom. I am extremely open minded and adventurous, almost all suggestions and wishes from a host get an eager 'yes' from me. I like to learn, experience, and share what I have and who I am with people.
