ABOUT ME

Florida girl at heart. My kids keep me busy 24/7 but I do, someway somehow, find the time to get out and explore. Mostly day hikes or bike rides, and always with my camera. I am also an amateur birder. I am an amazing cook ;) I've moved around my whole life, not spending more than 2 years in any school (besides undergrad).

PHILOSOPHY

Thru my experiences I can say that my philosophy lies in the fact that we are all human and trying to make the best of this life. Enjoy life, exude LOVE, and never stop learning. It's a journey :)

Lived through Hurricane Andrew (1992). Battled Invasive species in the wild expanses of Wekiwa Basin Park Systems, Central Florida (~40,000 square acres).

I have learned a lot about wild Florida and can share my knowledge of great places to go to experience it.

UPDATE: New to the front range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I finished my Master Naturalist training with Boulder County and have a lot of knowledge of the ecotones/geology/plants/wildlife/etc. here in this vast land of drastic elevation gain. It's pretty cool here, but I can still always recommend Florida ;)
