ABOUT ME

I love learning languages, and I want to become fluent in 7 (why 7? It's just an arbitrary number). I speak some Japanese, some Arabic (mostly Fusha), Vietnamese and English. I really like to eat and can talk all day about the foods that I like, so I'll try to limit it to one sentence. I like sweets, chocolates, cakes, kimchi, sushi, duck, a good steak, eggplant, curry, the list goes on.

Anyway, I also like hiking and camping. I love that feeling when you wake up in the morning in the middle of a forest, that fresh crisp air. I like snowboarding as well, but I'm still a novice. One of my other goals besides the language thing is to visit all the national parks in the US. Not that I really have to accomplish these goals, but I'll have fun trying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a roommate, so I'll have to convince her to host. I would like to give couchsurfing a shot, but at the very least I'd like to meet these awesome people when I travel!

Books: right now, anything by Brandon Sanderson! I'm a huge fan. But here are some random titles from my bookshelf: The Name of the Wind, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Sherlock Holmes, Iron Druid Chronicles, Coldfire Trilogy, The Heroes (and most things by Joe Abercrombie), Drizzt books, etc.
