Born in Norway, grew up in the Netherlands. I love existing! I'm eternally grateful for all of the wonderful experiences I've had so far, and I can barely contain my excitement for all the wonders that I'll witness in the future.

My ultimate goal in life is to make sure the far future is as positive and free of suffering as it can possibly be. I'm not picky about the tools I'll have to use on the way to getting there.

I currently work as a research associate for the Effective Altruism Foundation in Berlin. We are a politically neutral think-tank whose mission is to use science and rationality to help as many sentient beings as possible.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love meeting new people all around the world, sharing ideas with them, learning from them, and seeing the world from their perspective. I don't think hotels (or even hostels, for that matter) allow for this to the same extent as couchsurfing does.
