ABOUT ME
As I prepare to move to the DC area for graduate school, I am trying to get a feel for the area I'll be living in, feeding my excitement at making a new home for myself, and anticipating a lot of new experiences. The last year of my life has been very transient, so I look forward to being in one place again. I hope explore the neighborhoods there on my upcoming trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately, my participation in the CS project so far has been fairly limited. I am in housing limbo until I make a move to the Washington DC area in August, so I cannot host, and I haven't had a chance to surf yet. That said, I am eager to meet new people via CS, share my couch (once I have one) and my experiences with others, and generally do my part to facilitate cultural exchange and personal growth, one couch at a time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still waiting for that first surf/host!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Holland when the Dutch national football team made it to the 2008 European Championship. Spending time on the streets of Amsterdam that night with hordes of orange-clad, cheering Dutch fans was one of most visually stunning things I've ever seen and high on my list of great traveling events.
