ABOUT ME

Gday, we both grew up in southern Tasmania, but have both lived in several different parts of Australia and overseas over the years. Adam worked as a paramedic and nurse for several years but recently embarked upon a career change into carpentry, and as such he is now a carpentry apprentice. Alex has worked for several years as a nurse in many different areas of nursing, and in many different places. We both have a passion for travelling, and have both done a little bit in Australia and overseas...just enough to make us really want to keep travelling! We spent around 18 months living, working, and travelling around different parts of North America a couple of years ago (mostly Canada), which is where we first discovered and used couchsurfing . Following this North America trip we moved back 'home' to Tassie and have decided to stick around for a few years, so now we have a house and a dog, and the ability to 'give back' to couch surfing, as we have taken away some great experiences so far, and look forward to gaining some more. We are genuine, clean, easy-going, fun people, who are always up for a new adventure. please don't hesitate to ask us any questions. Cheers :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Adam: Always keen to learn more fun outdoors stuff! I'd love to be able to play the guitar (little bit cliche, sorry), but not sure I'll ever persist with the learning enough to get any good. I used to be able to finish a Rubik's cube, the cheats way though. I love hearing about new interesting books/artists/musicians and sharing those that I find interesting.
