ABOUT ME

I grew up in the space between cows and Portland, Oregon. Determined to go somewhere else for the sake of going somewhere else, I went to college in Southern California, spent a term in Sweden, and moved to San Francisco. I also traveled around the Pacific Coast, Europe, and a few other places here and there. I love Portland so much, and San Francisco is finding a place in my heart too.

I enjoy adventuring in the form of (but not limited to) walking/running/biking/bus-riding/train-riding/flying to far off places.
The goal may be to find awesome views or the tastiest vegetarian food, or just to see what's over there.
I have a love for cities and nature. I take a lot of pictures.
When I'm not wandering around, I enjoy coding, trying to learn Swedish, reading (it usually ends up being nonfiction, because the universe is crazy interesting), and spending too much time on the internet. I also enjoy libraries, mountains, bodies of water, and clear night skies.

I've been dreaming of hosting surfers for a while. Now that I have my own place (and live in a crazy awesome city), I want to share it with others!
