Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am the Founder/CEO of the Social Enterprise (SE), Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd (Krinsol Ecotours) http://www.krinsolecotours.com/ a Ghana based organization, where I work functionally as the Business Development, Strategic Planning and Management Executive.
Based on my extensive and excellent domestic/international experience, knowledge, expertise and exposure, I have meticulously researched, conceptualized, developed and rolled the people and community centered and inspired project, “Neighborhoods Empowerment and Sustainable Transformation (NEST)”.
Under this project, I have designed and set-up the international exchange program, "Global Intercultural, Diversity and Peace Network (GIDPN)" http://www.krinsolecotours.com/index.php/10-flash-news/91-study-abroad-cultural-international-development-exchange
This program promotes, supports and strengthens study abroad, gap-year, internship, volunteer, international development and cultural exchange placement in Ghana. This is to leverage grassroots cultural diplomacy, activate, achieve and maintain social, humanitarian, philanthropy, culture, history, adventure, recreation, leisure, sightseeing, education, entertainment, sports, active, healthy and sustainable development and lifestyles through international vacation, travel, tourism and hospitality.
The ultimate goal of this program is to provide a formidable platform for people especially the youth to get hands-on career/professional and personal development international experience whilst helping to influence grassroots, pro-poor, needy, vulnerable, deprived and marginalized development, cultivation of leadership, diversity management dynamics, social and intercultural relations/communication competencies, international contacts, networks, links and friendships, peace, safety and security.
By participating in Couchsurfing, I look forward to introducing and sharing this program with fellow couchsurferers and the international community, meet really cool and liked minded people, impact and change makers, agents and public influencers to see how we can network, collaborate and measure up to the challenge and impact positively on people, communities, society and humanity in general through this program.
