Hi there! I'm Danielle, and I'm a freelance journalist focusing on travel, outdoor recreation, conservation and public lands. I'm home in Pennsylvania (U.S.) about half the time, but when I'm not, I'm traveling on the cheap. In college, I spent a semester literally traveling around the globe! I traveled across 14 ports in 11 countries on five continents, and I've never looked at the world the same. The experience made me realize how little of my own country I had seen, so a year after I came back, I spent a summer roadtripping across the U.S. with my dog. That further sparked my love for exploration, and eight years later, I'm finally making travel a full-time career :).
