About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking to explore Portugal and Spain - food, music and landscapes

ABOUT ME

I am an enthusiastic person who loves to play music, sing, ride bikes and travel. I live in a very small town and believe in making my own fun, as well as being active in improving my community.

PHILOSOPHY

Try new things, talk to people and try not to plan too much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is Bike Touring friendly! I haven't hosted in a while, but I do from time to time. I have a tiny house that is available to the right person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed through the cycling community in SF at the first annual Bikesummer, and have used this couchsurfing network to stay in various places. Stayed with a few different hosts in France in 2008.

Interests

I sing in 2 choirs, am part of a dedicated book group, love to hike and bike. I am always keen on making or eating out for really good food and wine. I am a writer and mostly try to explore and find things to enjoy anywhere I go.

Hobbies include playing guitar, riding my bike, cooking, bird watching, gathering wild food, gardening, reading, salsa dancing, costume parties.
