ABOUT ME

I love to travel as do most of us on here. I like mountains more than being as sea level. I spent one winter in Central America hiking in the back country, exploring volcanoes, and staying with Indian families when not camping out and another year I spent the summer (winter in northern hemisphere) time period working in Antarctica for my second time. I like just about anything that has to do with the outdoors. I'm also into swing dancing, although I do go ballroom and Latin dancing every now and then as well.

I work as a master electrician on contract jobs. Between contracts I often travel for several months. Currently I average 2-4 months traveling every year.

PHILOSOPHY

Take advantage of life and actively pursue your goals. Anything can be possible if you work hard enough to achieve it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to staying with locals in the places I travel to and learning more about the places I visit. I also anticipate making some long-term friends as I come across others with the same interests in travel and culture as I have. I look forward to returning the favor and loaning out my couch once I settle back into one place for a while.

Interessi

I'm also an ultra-runner. I have run up to 73 miles in a race in Colorado. If you can point out any nice trail for me to run on in the area, that would be great.

Built a quenzee (cross between a snow cave and an igloo) and slept in it one night at the South Pole in temperatures -25F.
