ABOUT ME

Hello! i am an artist from philadelphia, pa. I love bringing people together in the name of community and connectivity...I believe my purpose is to spark creativity in the world. I put together collaborative art projects with children and adults - I've done murals, created interactive art events, put together interesting art making opportunities, and a whole lot more!

I love being around people, experiencing new things, and learning about people and places that are new to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to work to create things with people - anything from a meal to a mural to an art show.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing, but I am not new to the idea of meeting and connecting with like-minded people. Before I knew about couchsurfing, I would travel, and through friends of friends, often meet up with people in cities I visited who I never met before. I always had a great experience doing this because meeting someone from the city I was visiting helped me get a better sense of the place I was in, and the people. And I like to think that the people I met while traveling had a great time with me too!

Books: I love any book that gets you wrapped up the characters and is a bit of an escape from reality
Music: electro, glitch, house, dubstep, disco, tropical bass, moobahton - electronic music is my fave! however, i love motown, dub reggae, r+b, soul,new pop, and hip hop very much too!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I try to adventure daily - from little experiences to big ones....however here is a little list of some of my favorite moments:

- the travel adventures i've done alone: i was super inexperienced traveling alone when i was younger: i made mistakes, i got lonely, but traveling alone and learning how to do that made me a much more self-reliant and resilient person! And looking back, i'm so happy I traveled alone. I got to see some beautiful and amazing places, and meet great people....and now I'm a braver and more wiser woman.

- the travel adventures i've had with friends: going to burning man this summer with some of my very favorite loved ones and building an artistic community with them was an important experience for me. I also have had some very meaningful experiences while in New Orleans working as a community artist and seeing street parades during mardi gras season, traveling through the jungle in Nicaragua, and hiking through the mountains in cinque terre, Italy...all with great friends I grew closer with through these travel experiences

- finally, i've had some incredibly amazing experiences right in my hometown of Philadelphia with the communities I work with on art projects. Humanity, adventure, and discovery is everywhere...even right around the corner.
