Typical story...born and raised on a farm in eastern Canada then travelled for a year after school. Landed in Vancouver, B.C., made it my new headquarters and have been taking trips here and there when I can to explore as much as possible. I've been changing jobs every few years but finally found one I love.

I love being outside and staying active, so camping, swimming, hiking are favorites of mine. Life is pretty busy, I have 2 jobs, tons of hobbies, am somewhat active in church, and am trying to travel as much as I can. I try to go out and catch as many festivals, concerts, shows and other fun things as I can afford. It's hard to sum me up--I like variety so I'm pretty much up for almost anything.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A 3 km swimming race.

Quit my well paid but boring and unfulfilling job for one that paid half as much and required 10 times as much work.

Finished the Vancouver marathon without training for it and without stopping once. I can teach you the long distance running technique in 2 minutes.

Swimming with reef sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, nemos, and hundreds of other kinds of fish at the great barrier reef. Watching an octopus change colour.

Seeing Vanuatu's land diving ceremony--bungee jumping from bamboo scaffolding using vines tied to their feet--those guys are crazy!
