Overview
About Me
I have always loved to travel, for as long as I can remember. I took a nice trip to Canada with my Grandparents when I was in 7th grade, and it was an interesting experience. In 2016 I studied abroad in Hong Kong for about 3 and a half weeks. My girlfriend and I are planning to spend about 2 and a half months in Asia. A month in Korea, a month in Japan, and a week or two in Hong Kong.
We also might move to Korea and teach English together, as we both adore the food, culture, and gorgeous landscapes throughout Korea and most of Asia. We both are very friendly and outgoing, and love to interact with and meet new people/make new friends!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to be able to travel as much as possible and be able to meet people and stay in a local home. I love the idea of the couchsurfing community, and once I have a more permanent home, I would love to host others. I have helped international students at my alumni college, so I understand what it is like to help other people that are new to a country.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Edward Scissorhands, The Prestige, Interstellar, and many more!
Music: I mainly listen to Metalcore music. Favorite bands are I See Stars, The Word Alive, We Came As Romans, Blessthefall. I dabble in electronic music and some pop/other metal. Don't really care for most rap or American radio music.
Books: I haven't read too often in the past few years. I plan to eventually get a Kindle and get into reading again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled alone to Hong Kong and studied abroad for almost a month.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a huge tech nerd. I know a good bit about computers, laptops, phones, TVs, and probably some other things here and there that I can't think of. I'm an amatuer photography with a mirrorless Sony A6000 camera. Always looking for amazing photos to take, and I am excited to learn more about photography.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A friendly, outgoing personality that is more than excited to meet new people and have new experiences. I love to see other cultures and interact with people from all over the world. That's one thing I greatly appreciated about my time in Hong Kong, I was able to see things from different perspectives. It was hard not to, considering my roommate was German, and my suitemates were from France and Norway.
