About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Heading to Sheffield to gain international experience, learn more about other cultures, travel and see the world, develop relationships with people around us...
ABOUT ME
This is really hard especially for a combined profile! We obviously love adventure as we're travelling overseas for a few months to work. We are really easy going, very considerate, trustworthy people. And we look forward to meeting you!
PHILOSOPHY
To help whoever I can, whenever I can, however I can...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We surf, and are available to be surfed...as well as donating financially to the mission of CS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Our first "official" couchsurfing experience was in Jan 2009 with a lady in London. She was really good about hosting and letting us know all the tips of living in England...it was great to soak up knowledge from her and I was grateful for her hospitality.
Other than that, we just couchsurf on friends' houses without this website! We're still learning, but are so grateful for the kind hearts of CSers!
Interests
Sand volleyball, softball, any sports really; card games, learning how to dance, finding new restaraunts, and the list goes on and on and on...
TRAVELING!! Being in Sheffield for the past 3 months, and a few more, we are definitely being bit by the travel bug. We LOVE seeing new places, enjoying incredible new experiences, and laughing hysterically at the things that come our way!

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE movies/films...lately I've been seeing a lot more independent films, but that does not mean I am not super stoked about mainstream Hollywood stuff either. Some people laugh at my selections...but I don't care. I enjoy the cinema.
Movies on my list in the theatre:
17 Again (don't judge!! ;) haha)
Fast and Furious
Ghost of Girlfriends Past
I'd see movies like Runaway Jury or thinking movies like Memento ANY DAY of the week - as long as it's not too scary!! ha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed in a "treesort" in Takilma, Oregon a few years ago. It was 37 feet off the ground, sort of a Swiss Family Robinson ordeal. There was a just enough room in it for a bed and a sink. It was incredibly weird to wake up in the top branches of a tree!! I felt like a bird or something. But it was so cool - everyone should do it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wow what a broad topic...I'm from the US and I'd love to gain information from others on here about their culture. I LOVE the fact that I'm gaining so many knowledge tidbits from the people I'm meeting overseas. I can tell you stuff about the US, Texas, a little bit of Economics, things with nonprofits...I mean I don't really know what you're looking for here, I prefer direct questions.
