About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Digging my heels in.

ABOUT ME

In the world, working and volunteering wherever I can while seeing and learning, living and breathing, trying to get to every corner of the world with my legs intact :) I've learned a lot from nearly five years bouncing around the world, and am now at a place where I'm starting to make conscious, healthy choices and investments into growing and nurturing for myself, and those around me in the present moment.

PHILOSOPHY

Symbol-making machine, strange loops and vivid colour. It's each our responsibility to living well and living positive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the Galapagos Islands for three months, and at one time the braying of sealions and sickle-shaped frigate birds overhead became normal as I was walking over some headland - I caught myself, snapping out of that feeling of oblivious shifting baseline, and suddenly coming back to the present, felt the surging rush of the sheer presence of the infinite present, the amazement and joy at being a part of and sharing in the world.

Drinking with shamans in southern Colombia, and racing through dimensions with a room of light and love.

Sat atop temples and stared at eyes of gods at the end of the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I've recently noticed about travelling - about the often misused phrase "broadening horizons" - is how it changes you to a conscientious, responsible being, dedicated to the ethics inherent in living, seeing and hearing, and giving something back. Going out into the world confronts you with your own origins, and the mental and psychological toll travelling can take always implies a return back to a starting point. It's only when the circle's complete can you begin fresh, beyond the zero.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Two sofas, good flat in the centre of beautiful York, three guitars, garage, few pints and a city tour when I'm not working.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Belize, Cambodia, Colombia, Cyprus, Ecuador, France, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Laos, Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
