About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To cram as much of Europe in to one month of travelling
ABOUT ME
Last year, returning from a five week road trip across the US, I embarked on a new chapter of my life and moved from Melbourne to Sydney to start my career.
And I love it.
Sydney has the most amazing weather, something that Melbourne just can't compete with. And I have learnt very quickly to embrace this.
Last summer I was at the beach at every spare moment, I learnt to surf, I found a bunch of great bars and clubs, and have met so many new and amazing friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only just leart of the mantra 'work to live, don't live to work'. That's what I plan on doing.
I started my international travels at the early age of 10 but travelling didn't excite me again until I finished four years of uni.
Before embarking on a move to Sydney for a career job, I took five weeks to drive across the US and am currently planning a 'taste of Europe' trip for June this year.
I have so much to share about Australia, and having now lived in two of this country's largest cities I can talk for hours about where to go, what to see, how to get there and, most importantly, where to EAT!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During our time in the US we stayed with a few couch surfers in Washington DC and Albuquerque. The locals really had amazing knowledge of the best sights, bars and eats.
In DC, we walked through George Town just after the city had received its heaviest snow dump in six years - it looked absolutely stunning!
Interests
Aussie Rules (or football for us locals), finding amazing small bars in Sydney (it's a new thing for them up here),

Music, Movies, and Books
American Beauty and Slumdog Millionaire - two of my favourite films.
My favourite novel is The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas. So excited that it's being made into a mini-series on ABC1 later this year.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* Took a helicopter ride over New York City
* Had a white gummie bear shot with friends in a random L.A. bar
* Climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge - once by day and once by night
