About Me
Hi I am Ae-jin!
I really love traveling so much. for me, this is the best way to meet people who have different culture and thinking. Talking with you guys is inspiration to me and helps me to broadens my narrow perspective. Through my numerous travels, there were something I couldn't learn in school, but important and inextricably linked to my life.
yeap! Definitely, I am growing up and transformed by travel.
I am a kind of SUPER POSITIVE person, always even bad or not, try to think about good things and good ways. Do not lose SMILE in any situations. at the same time really passionate, active and struggling to fine my own purpose in life and want to do good and right thing for me:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Look back few years ago, I was an exchange student of SBU(stony brook university), New York for this semester. However, contrary to my belief that I would meet a lot of people from different countries in this polyglot community, the place was little far from the City which is in the most central of multi-cultures.
Therefore I started my first Couch Surfing to meet various people from all over the world! It turned out super awesome!
Hope to make more memorable stories again in my first big journey:)
Interests
I am always craving to find ways to make some meaningful meeting and hearing such an awesome life. and then, when I traveled, speaking other languages was the key to make it.
Also I like drawing, making and reading.
***this is what I am doing now***
last year, I found a company called 'FARMFRA' which aims to make alternative lifestyle based on sustainability in Namhae of South Korea(This is an island in the south area). As Namhae and Bali have a lot in common, definitely sure that I could get adaptable and inspired ideas from this trip.
Here you can see about our "FARMFRA"; What we are doing.

Music, Movies, and Books
In the word, what I want to do well is WRITING. to keep a diary is my own way to heal and arrange myself. I hope to use uncommon expression and creative imagination. if anyone is good at writing I hope to meet you.
plus, I enjoy drawing my life in cartoon. You can see mine on the Facebook page.
Love Movie which can inspire me and provoke to think deeply about specific subjects. yes, it sounds boring but this is not sort of heavy thing. just try to find some meaning even from light or usual scenes.
Actually I enjoy to listen Indie music. It feel like I am the only one who know the song like a secret. also the thing I take important in music is lyric. this determine me to listen or not. anyway, If you want, I can recommend some sort of K-pops you've never heard easily:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Penniless journey for one month in South Korea countryside.
lived 6months in Auroville, India. Traveling the word especially to the countryside to see how people live.
just wanted to find answer of my own question about education, agriculture and fair, sustainable traveling. And than through traveling with almost no money, I learned a lot of things at my first-hand.
Do you want to listen?
Teach, Learn, Share
I traveled my country Korea with helping farmers and than in this year, worked as valunteer in Auriville and Sadhana Forest in South India. It inspired me to think about environment, agriculture, sustainable life deeply. Want to share what I experienced and to hear your own story.
