ABOUT ME

I guess it’s a little bit difficult to speak about yourself. Or, at least, it’s not as objective. Anyway, I’ll try.
I’m 21-year-old girl, who studies economics at the university in Minsk, Belarus – city, where I was born and grew up.
What do I like?
First of all I love life. It’s the biggest wonder that we all have. And whatever happens I try to be optimistic. Till we are alive, we have a chance to change everything.
I love people. Every new person in my life is a new experience. Every person on the Earth is unique, so you can learn from him a lot. The way he feels, the way he thinks can teach you a lot. That’s why I’m very grateful to people surrounding every day. They make me more flexible and tolerate, they make me see other sides of the events and other points of view. I like to listen to people very much. Knowing different cultures makes it easier for you to orientate in the global world.
I love traveling. Sometimes changing a scenario around you can cure you. Traveling always helps me to bring my thoughts and feelings in order. Even if it’s a one-day-trip to the neighbouring city. Sometimes you just don’t have to go far away, sometimes just the fact of being away helps. Also traveling is a great way of meeting new cultures and, of course, new people. And new impressions. And, of course, traveling is like a history alive. You read about the city before you go there, find out some interesting facts which you’ve never known before, it enlarges your horizons.
I love music. It always had huge influence on me. It can make me sad or cheerful. That’s why my mp3 is always with me.
I love my family and my friends. They make me happier and stronger.
I love my future job – international economics relations. And I think I’m really lucky to love the things I do.
I love reading. It helps me to be in the harmony with the world. I think it’s very important to be well-educated person and to know things from different fields of science and art.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that we create our life ourselves. And a person can get what he wants, if he would work really hard and if he would like to achieve that goal THAT much. It’s important.
Life is a greatest wonder I have. And I hope that I really value it.
In the future I would like to make something good for my country, because I really love it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recent time I don’t really have much time to read fiction. But my favourite books are: Alice in Wonderland by Lewis, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Marques, Arch of Triumph by Remarque, Harry Potter (:)), Idiot by Dostoevsky, Oscar and the Lady in Pink by Schmitt, Theater by Maugham, Pigmalion by Shaw. And I'm totally fascinated by J.S.Foer. Extremely loud and incredibly close is one of the best books I've ever read.
Music? Indie. It's my personal addiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is my exchange year in Bochum, Germany. This year changed me a lot.
