Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've already met a lot of CSers and done some unofficial CSing and hosting, but now I finally created a profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unofficially hosted a few wonderful CS-ers with my wife, and stayed with some hosts on occasion. Always a fantastic experience.

Interests

Martial arts (especially Aikido) and Argentine Tango are on my list of favorite things. I spin FIRE and play music (guitar, violin, and tro ou). I love to cook and eat, and especially BAKE BREAD. I'd love to open a bakery someday. I love the outdoors: camping, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding... you name it and I'll try it.

Overall, I like being around people who see life as something to be actively involved in.

I'm spending my time finishing my Masters thesis in urban sustainability. It's taught me a lot about people and society. I'm looking for the right way to put that to use.

Love new and innovative music and find comfort in the old. Recent favorites are dubstep for fire spinning, fiddle music for playing, and Prokofiev piano concertos for listening.

Movies... for action: Hanna and Ip Man. For comedy, the Big Lebowski and Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog. For old times sake: The Neverending Story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaking the Fjords of Norway for a week! Visiting the temples and small villages all over Cambodia! Spinning fire for the first time!
