Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing a few years ago before a big trip to China. My friend and I had a blast. We couchsurfed in China, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. I've experienced the joy of meeting new people and being helped by them as well as helping by offering space when I've had it. I look forward to meeting new people and building a greater understanding of people in other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy independent/foreign movies and I love sci-fi movies especially if there is a time-travel twist.

I love reading and go through several books a month. Some favorite types are sci-fi, southern gothic, and spiritual books.

Musical interests cover a wide array including Latin American ballads, Taize chants, Jazz, ethnic music, and indie music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching Easter celebrations in Antigua, Guatemala. Emergency delivery of a baby on an Arizona highway to a complete stranger.

I enjoy meeting people who want to make a difference while they're on this planet. I love to hear about gardening tips, and social justice.
