I'm Erika, born and raised in Hungary. Grew up in the suburbs, but have been living in the centre of Budapest for 9 years.
Next to being a manager of quite a lot of people at a pharmaceutical company, I'm a singer and music producer, fusing live vocals and instruments with electronic music.

I'm an extroverted, outgoing person who loves joking around and making people laugh, and I can be bought with sarcasm and dark humor anytime. :D I can be serious too though and like to have meaningful conversations. I believe I'm quite free-spirited, easy to talk to, have opinion about a lot of things but still open-minded. I like to talk a lot but can listen to the other person just as much.

I have 2 cats whom I adore, you can find them among the pictures. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to visit many countries and know more about their cultures, meet new people and get to know their stories. There is so much a person can do for themselves to be a better human being, but the impact of others, their views, their love, their caring is shaping who we are just as much.

I'm usually very busy, but if my time allows I would also like to host people and show them around.

Interests

I love going to concerts, raves (psytrance mostly), karaoke or just out to drink with my friends. Also like light or moderate hikes, roadtrips.

I like playing games, off and online, nowadays I only play online with friends, mostly PUBG, but some of my favorites are: Mass Effect trilogy, Detroit: Become Human, Nier: Automata, Overwatch, HOTS

I like boardgames too, the kinds that are not that dependent on luck (so possibly don't involve dice... :D) like Codenames, Secret Hitler, Activity, Imagine.

I am moderately active, I would like to focus more on sports, but my job and most of my hobbies are sadly sedentary. I loove dancing though in every quantity! Also loved horseback-riding and swimming, but they are not that possible right now where I live.

Another that is not only my achievement, but hers too: having my best friend by my side for 16 years now and still going strong (even though we live in different cities). Because friends can be soulmates too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my current (still considered amateur though) knowledge on recording and producing music in DAW (Reaper).
I'm not a certified vocal coach but I am very trained and can give you an honest feedback on your voice if you'd like, also some tips and guidance.
Also I am very good at recommending artists and songs. :)

I can share my experience with self-development and healing, I have been on the road of therapy since I was 14, doing Hellinger's Family Constellations mostly. Nowadays I have also started walking on the psy path of self-discovery. ;)

I have quite nice makeup-skills I can teach.
