About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing that the world I dream of exists with the right people

ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 something engineer turned teacher who just moved to DC after a short stint in South Florida. Have you been to South Florida? Wow! Not really for me, but luckily there are some cool CS'ers down there keeping it cool. I like exploring the city, but am currently unbelievably busy trying to teach math to DC's teenagers

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing has had an unbelievably positive influence on my life the past few years. Hosting a few people was fun, surfing in Costa Rica was awesome, but more than that, the community of local CSers has helped me make amazing friends in the places I've lived. Yay!

Interests

Exploring (obviously), music (playing guitar and saxophone, and seeing shows), hiking, making cool stuff with electronics and woodworking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really loved seeing the Redwoods, up near Avenue of the Giants. I was fully expecting to see a dinosoar pop up somewhere, it was just magical. Florida's springs near Ocala are awesome. Driving in Costa Rica was a pretty intense experience, and the jungle there was beautiful.
