I am a quite outgoing person, but I tend to be a bit shy or somewhat reserved with whom I don't know already. That may change in a short time if I can engage in a good conversation :)
I am not a party person, normally I prefer to go with friends to a bar and enjoy some artisanal beers or go to a café or tea and chill.

I'm doing a Ph.D. in physics and that is my full-time occupation. I live in Porto Alegre, south Brazil, which isn't exactly what one would expect when you think of Brazil. I studied in Berlin as an exchange student for one year, so I also speak some German. When I have time I like to travel and discover new places. Mostly I choose places to go for their history or nature.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I thought it would bring a nice experience to traveling - to not only see the touristic stuff but to really get to know the locals and their habits and also share a bit of my culture etc.

So far, I had a really nice experience! Everyone - hosts, guests, and other surfers - that I've met through CS was really attentive, kind, and engaging.

Interessen

I like to go for a walk in parks and to take photos, especially from animals (starting to create a collection from dogs). Doing bike tours is also really nice, I'm trying to make it a habit.
