ABOUT ME

I am a young woman and my parents gave me the name Alice.
I love taking photographs, so people call me a photographer. I love sharing my thoughts through films, so people call me a filmmaker. I love engaging in making the world a better place, so people call me an activist. But in the end I am no more than an alignment of energy that belongs to an immense, never ending universe.

PHILOSOPHY

Alan Watts:
You have to realize that the entire construct of individuality is based on the ego, your mind essentially tricking you into thinking you are separate from the things outside your own skin. Tricking you into believing that you are your own, completely separate being, when, really, it is very plausible that you only experience life in this way, and it is not the way it really is. I tend to not believe in karma in terms of my soul becoming another person when I die because that relies on the idea that the soul is also separate and individual. And that would seem incorrect considering that the whole construct of 'I' is nothing more than the ego, a physical interpretation created by the brain. And if life has showed us anything, it is that brains can be very good at being deceptive.

I surf all around the world and I have hosted when I had my own place. Right now, I am homeless ;-)

except one disappointing experience, I only met great people and I never want to stop couchsurfing.
