One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting new people who I can network with to find future adventure. I spend a lot of time traveling through rural areas and off the beaten path.
I enjoy traveling to experience new-to-me culture and heritage. My interests include industrial heritage, rail infrastructure, photography, international advertising, and architecture.
I also am a vintage reproduction dressmaker who sews with vintage sewing machines and runs a body-positive clothing line, when I'm not studying.

I like experiencing new places, and meeting new people. I feel like in hotels, you are likely to miss out on the personal experiences of why people like or dislike where they life. It's more authentic to stay in homes, which is why I also will use Air Bnb where possible. I like having human interaction with people as well. It's rather awkward trying to strike up a conversation with a desk clerk at a hotel. Plus grad school is expensive.

I enjoy cooking; I'm currently working on my vegetarian/vegan cooking skills. I like sharing experiences and listening to what people are passionate about and asking questions so I can learn and get to know people. Sometimes I make people laugh pretty hard.
