About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Organic farming in the courtyard of shangri-la

ABOUT ME

I am an undergraduate currently at Indiana University and I study Archaeology. I plan to go to grad school and get my Ph.D. in archaeology to study the Peopling of the New World Theory, (or how people came to North America ... p.s. it wasn't by the Bearing Land Bridge). But for now, I am living in the most amazing apartment complex, with two opera singers, a retired classics professor, four people from Iran, and one from Ecuador. We go to the farmer's market every saturday and then to the community bike project to work on our bikes.

PHILOSOPHY

The golden rule.
Trust before distrust.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard of this through a friend who is from Peru. I have been making plans to go to Boston after I graduate. I need some time away from academia, so I want to get a job in contract archaeology in the city.

I plan to try staying with someone first and then next fall when I have more free time, and I will be at home full time, I would like to extend the invitation to people who would like to visit Bloomington.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, yet, but spring break steadily approaches!

Interests

Biking, running, tennis, skiing, swimming, painting, ceramics, being outside, campfires, hammocks, photography, reading, hiking, teaching myself the fiddle, meeting new people and seeing new places-cultural interaction, joking around with people, building things with my dad, solving problems ...

Teach, Learn, Share

There is nothing else more important in life than honesty. You are only living your life fully if you are completely honest with yourself and those in it.

Being honest with yourself is often much harder than being honest with others.
