Hello my name is Afia and I'm a young soul exploring the world. I was born I Sweden and grew up there as well. I'm a social person who loves to meet new people and experiencing new places, I absolutely love food & music and aspire to be an great musician (singer).

As I mentioned before,Ii grew up in Sweden: Stockholm to be exact. I live with my parents so I'm not able to have any guests yet but maybe in the near future, so at the moment I'm aiming to be a travler.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've always had a passion for traveling and what better way to experience culture and the aura of a country that to connect with locals? As a little child i was fortunate enough to travel with my peers to various lands. The trips where quite similar to one an other: Get off the plane, take a bus to this beautiful hotel filled with tourists and then be stuck by the pool for a week. I mean it was fun when I was a smal child, with all the activities that the hotel would organize and the food, but as I grew older I started to realize that I wasn't actually experiencing the true meaning of living and exploring.

Theres this particular trip I went on that really showed me how traveling is supposed to be and that was also the first time I hear of couch surfing. My older brothers are avid couchsurfers (which is how i got into this myself) and would take trips to Germany and other countries so he showed me the world of couchsurfing. So now that i'm old enough, I want to explore this amazing and fun world!

I studied music in high school and i still sing a lot, so its literally impossible for me to narrow my music down to a lets say top 5 or a top 10. I can go on and on when it comes to creative project.

Hmmm this is really a thinker. I try to do amazing things in my day to day life, it might not amount to be something amazing in others eyes but for me to just see someone smile and have a good day makes my day, especially if that someone has been going through a rough path.

i'm pretty much an open book, I can hopefully be an interesting person that you can be accompanied by. I can tell you about the upsetting weather in Sweden or perhaps a laughable story from my childhood in Ghana. Im here to share my story and to hear others, so i can lend you an open ear to you!
