ABOUT ME

Hi people!
(I'm in in Canberra from 15th may to 30th of july 2011.)

Hi there, I'm Afia from Hamburg. After my studies in Hamburg I went off to Berlin for a while (I love Berlin!) and am now internshipping throughout Germany and the World. At the moment I'm an intern at the german embassy in Australia in Canberra. Since I live in the embassydistrict there's not very much action around so I'm happy about every news about anything going on in Canberra or Sydney in the period from 15th may until 30th of july 2011.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to get in touch with other people. When I'm around in my homecity i also like to show them the spots which are important to know or are important for me. I'm hoping very much to become part of the cs-community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Regarding to CS I'm an absolute beginner! buuut I think i'll be a good surfer since I've been surfing couches of friends all over Germany and Europe and the US already, but just didn't call it cs.

Centres d'intérêt

I like travelling and i love dogs! (don't have one, but aaalwayswanted. ..what else?.. When I'm in my hometown i usually do sports like aerobic and stuff like that... :)

Aaah, yes! I love going to concerts. This kind of little, basement or pub concerts of some strange independent, punk or rock'n roll bands... :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

indie, electro, rock! When it comes to music, I'm very, very flexible and tolerant. I just hate musicals! I actually enjoy going to a classic-concert once in a while.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

amazing trip to thailand in May this year. Discovered Melbourne a little bit.

Most exiting was when i met my favourite rock-band in a pub after the concert in hamburg. and i could really get them to greet my friends in colone the next evening :) That was great! My friends were so happy, too.

i can teach u german. i want to learn ur language. I can share my milk with you. <-- and that means a lot, because i neeeeed milk, can't live without it :)
