Hey there!

So I'm joining this network to meet some good people that are out there and because I'm super curious to get acqqccuqainted (no, do not really know how to spell this word really) with individuals I might not normally cross paths with. I believe we learn the most about our selves and get a better understanding of people from these interactions. Also, this is an effort to tick off some bullets on my on my bucket list aka the list of things to do before my time is up so to speak. It's kind of an ambitious list, I know, basically involving travelling a bunch for real as well as embarquing on a journey of the spirit. :) Here is my To do-list before I get old and grumpy:
1)join the couch surfing network thingy and hang out with and befriend cool cats around the world - CHECK!!!
1) living on a boat for a year
2) learning how to fly an airplane, size small
3) bike across the world
4) learning how to speak additional languages to those I already know
5) writing a novel 'bout my mama. Maybe I will also call this novel " 'Bout my mama".
6) get to know a horse and to trust it
7) finish and edit a documentary film I started taping in 2009 of random talk. Maybe I will also call this film "Random Talk".
8) Learn how to play ukulele. Why ukulele? you might ask. Cause it is a more mobile sized guitar.

Some things I've done so for:
1) Sailed as a trainee on a ship
2) Lived in Japan
3) Had coffee and cookies with the president of Iceland in his residency
4) Read and loved A Confederacy of Dunces
5) Had semi-serious aspirations of becoming and astronaut when I was a kiddo
