Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Finding a home away from home, and making friends along the way. I would like to do your dishes, bake you cookies, or take you on a tour of my town in exchange a night (or some nights) on your couch/hide-a-bed/floor.

Interests

My hobbies include power lifting, baking, drinking tea and beer (sometimes at the same time, or better yet, Mill St. Brewery's Lemon Tea Beer), reading, and urban exploring. Intellectually, I'm interested how brains do language, questions of authority, feminism, and literary criticism. I'm happiest with my hands on a barbell or while sitting on an outdoor patio with friends, drinking beer and laughing. I'm also very interested in meditation, tattoos, community building, nutrition, and naps.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've run two half marathons and I can deadlift over 200 pounds.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to bake, knit, diagram a sentence, do the three power lifts, train for a half-marathon safely, and use semi-colons properly.
