About Me

ABOUT ME

I like dead languages. I also enjoy odd animals, including but not limited to: platypuses, camels, ankylosaurs, walruses, penguins, turtles, cookie monster and the bunny from Monty Python. In my free time, I lift weights and generally behave elementally. I think too much, sleep too much, and smile too much. Academically, language and interdisciplinary commonalities do it for me. In short, I'm all over the place. Sometimes, this makes me feel bad. Mostly, I try to appreciate what I enjoy.

PHILOSOPHY

Haha, I'm sure nobody wants to read that.

But just in case, I think Om nom nom nom might sum it up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just got acquainted with the project. I met some really nice CSers while studying in Leiden, and I'm hoping to get more involved in Providence and in NYC when I get back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet. Met a bunch of great people at CS meet ups in Leiden.

Interests

Embracing the incongruous and goofy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of movies, as long as Natalie Portman isn't in them. Total dealbreaker.
Music? Folk to r&b to death metal to shoe gaze to garage. Anything really.
I mostly read Grammars, or whatever catches my eye in a bookstore.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching. Whatever catches your fancy.
Learn: Anything and everything
