About Me

CURRENT MISSION

(try to) know the world

ABOUT ME

PHILOSOPHY

It's better to move around with no certain destination, than to live stuck at the same place with nothing interesting to do.
-Tuareg Nomad Philosophy-

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Life is exchange. You give, you recieve back. You don't give, you don't receive back. My house is open for anyone wanting to share a few good laughs :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch has been busy many times.............people that I hardly knew.........or I met travelling even before I heard about CouchSurfing.........I took them home, took care of them.........while many others did it to me all around the world........Invisible Exchange, that's the key.

Interests

Interested in learning, as much as possible.

  • wine
  • coffee
  • traveling
  • juggling
  • basketball
  • languages

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: biographies and autobiographies...adventure...historical novels...and WILBUR SMITH and LE CLÈZIO!!!
Music: boogie-woogie, hip-hop, fado, reggae, tango, bossa nova, rai, jazz...there's a moment for every single style.
Cinema: don't know much about cinema. That's something you could teach me :) but, I find Kim Ki Duk a very interesting filmmaker, and feel attracted by silent movies and Charles Chaplin, the Marx Brothers, Alfred Hitchcock and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making the BIG and DIFFICULT choice of traveling as a lifestyle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn as many languages as possible.......and anything you want to share with me!! Its up to you, really!! :D I LOVE CHALLENGES!!
About teaching...I could teach you how to juggle (if you're very good, you'd be the one teaching me jajaja)
...or how to make handicrafts (macrame style, necklaces, bracelets and stuff)
I play a few percussion instruments too: djembe, surdo, txalaparta. Learning how to play "cajón flamenco" (percussion too).
And basketball...both watching and playing, even if my ankles start to be a bit rusty :D
Can't forget about riding my YAMAHA WILD STAR 1600...fancy a ride?? :D
A glass of wine, reading a good book on the beach, a good conversation, coffee, wild camping, sunsets, cycling, meeting interesting people...are other things we could share. And, of course, TRAVELLING!! I consider myself a nomad. My life would mean nothing without travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A secure place to stay, a free tourguide (on a motorcycle if you wish) :D and plenty of smiles.
