Enjoy travelling, exploring different cultures and meeting new people when and if money is available!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2011 travelled to Berlin, hosted by a couchsurfing member, and it was great! Had a fantastic time, walked a lot, absorbed as much of the culture as one can possibly do!
Hosted and enjoyed the company of a fantastic couple from Argentina, had a great time.

FAVOURITE BOOKS: Mother by Maxim Gorky, The Iron Heel By Jack London, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo and anything that lands on my hands (I am always up for a good read)
MOVIES:Loved the Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson. Django Unchained by Tarantino, The Great Dictator by Charles Chaplin, Cinema Paradiso by Giuseppe Tornatore, Viridiana by Luis Bunuel and so many many more.
MUSIC: Greek old-school music (rempetika), folk, and political songs by Greek composers (Mikroutsikos, Theodorakis, Loizos). Portishead, Radiohead, P.J. Harvey (since my teenage years). Recently acquired a taste for Jazz, and Afrobeat, so SoulJazz Orchestra, The Budos Band, Woima Collective, Ikebe Shakedown are all there, but also Fela Kuti, Mr. Miles Davis, John Coltrane and many more.
