ABOUT ME

I'm 25 and I grew up on a farm in the rolling hills of southern New South Wales. So I'm a country girl essentially I suppose. I went to uni in Sydney, then spent the next 2 years travelling the world and working. Now I'm back in Sydney recently embarked upon a PhD....so I'll be here for a bit! It's not a bad place to be at all at all, and the student lifestyle is, of course, quite enjoyable! I'm looking forward to travelling again. Life is good.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience of Couch Surfing was in Turkey last year - I was travelling with 2 friends and we stayed with a few different couch-surfing hosts. It was definately the making of our trip! Wonderful people whom I'll never forget and a truly unique and authentic experience of their amazing country....It inspired me towards the concept and I'd love to return the hospitality!

Intereses

I'm interested in lots of stuff. The world, broadly. More specifically....I love the outdoors and "naytcha", I love travelling - seeing new places and meeting new people in all their diversity....and discovering over and over again that essentially we and the things that drive us are all the bloody same.

My friends, old and new. Books. History. Beer, wine and whiskey sourced from and consumed in all corners of the globe. Music. Laughing and yarning. Walking. Languages. Roadtrips. Saving the world. Old dark and dirty pubs. Agriculture. People!

Música, películas y libros

I love movies but am reknowned for not having seen any (many). It's a real conversation killer actually, but I am ok at pretending that I've seen the movie in order to keep the conversation rolling. This only works up to a point....
Books are one of the wonderfulest things about this world. I like books.
Music is also wonderful. I am not alone in thinking this. I like almost all music and having a bit of a groove, often til quite late hours. I'm quite open-minded about it.
