ABOUT ME

I love life and adventures. My greatest desire is to see as much of the world as I possibly can before I leave it. I live with my loving life partner Magda and we enjoy a peaceful life together. My friends are my greatest treasures and I have invested a life time in maintaining relationships that have lasted through the years. I was born and raised in Iran and came to the United states as a young woman in the mid 70's.

The greatest theme in my life is change. Migration was a major change that marked the way I perceived life from that point on. Moving from Middle East to USA at 20, Iran’s Revolution and execution of my loved ones, going from riches to rags, multiple marriages and divorces, becoming a mother, discovering my sexual orientation at 48, leaving corporate life to start a business and become a spiritual teacher are among the changes that I have made work in my life and that gives me the passion to help others through change.

My belief about life and people is that we are all one and connected through love. There is good at the core of every person even if they are not in touch with it. I choose to live and let live. My favorite affirmation is "I am who I am and I allow others to be who they are".

I have a variety interests that keeps me joyfully engaged in life. I am an inspirational speaker, teacher and author of a book called Change Thrivers.

I discovered the artist within when I was traveling to China in 2001 and bought some gel pens and black paper to draw during the trip. Since then I have been drawing and painting on all kinds of surfaces. Last year I began a side business, painting and selling an invasive species of apple snail shells.

My hobby is photography and I always carry a camera with me. One never knows when a good picture will present itself. I also love to read, meditate and spend time with friends.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Traveling to Antarctica was one of the most awe inspiring trip of my life. To be in unspoiled nature and to see the amazing sculptures of ice was truly a privilege. I was immersed in this other-worldly experience for 2 weeks that left me with memories I will cherish the rest of my life.
