PHILOSOPHY

I think this world needs to be experienced and traveled, but in moderation. Too much "fun" will make you miss the details, but too many tourist traps offer you no real definition of the culture you are in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Normandy for the 50th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion. I forget the town I was in, but there was this firework display and the ash was falling on the crowd and everyone was cheering and drinking in the streets and being joyous.

Who knows if it will ever happen again in the countryside of France, but I was glad I was there.... and I can't wait for the next time.
