About Me

ABOUT ME

I guess it is a bit difficult to descibe yourself, because people usually see themself a bit diffrent then they are seen by other people. But I will try... My friends see me as someone energetic, tough, sometimes;-)funny and sometimes very serious. I would say that I am a bit shy and calm as well. Sometimes I enjoy going out and spending time with my friends or meeting new interesting people, and sometimes I enjoy staying home, watching telly, having a glas of wine and read a book, I enjoy making jewellery, learning English. I really enjoy travelling, although I hate preparing the trip, I mean searching for it. The best way for me is to buy a ticket, check a few things, find nice people from CS and enjoy being there, making friends with them, talking, walking, sightseing, eating traditional food, an ice cream, lying down on the gras, going to a forrest or a cave, just enjoy the day. I can relax then. Sometimes I am demanding to myself (maybe because I am a teacher ;-) but sometimes I m a bit childish and then I feel like the happiest person in the wourld just because the sun is shining, its warm, I finally can wear my summerdress (look--->London weather), I m eating tuna jacket potato, an ice cream or tiramisu, and I m so happy because I got so many points in tetris.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my experience with CS 2008. My friend intoduced me to this community. Since that time I met so many fantastic people, who became my good or even closest friends. I think CS is really a good way to get to know new friends, their life style, their culture. I just learnt during the last few years, that people are so different, the cultures are extremely different, but the best way to get to know it, is to have a friend who can introduce you to their culture, their life style, their local food, their friends, bars, beaches, grandmas birthday and all the normal regular life around us. I really love CouchSurfing!

Interests

I like a lot of things, but sometimes feel extremely lazy... I enjoy reading books, travelling to interesting places and meeting nice people, I like talking to my friends, learning foreign languages (I m an MFL teacher), I like walking, I love natur, enjoy all kinds of caves, forrests, beaches, all palm trees, sharks, animals, I wish to go to safari on day and to see Mountains of the Moon in Africa, and generally enjoy all park resorts, small romantic towns are lovely as well. What I dont like is shopping and cooking...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music. But it doesnt mean I dont listen to another sorts of music. I like SOAD and Serj Tankian the most. And I also love reading books about African and Asian culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've made a few things which made my life a bit more beautiful. I am definitely happy that I had this possibility to travel during my long summer holiday at school and to meet such amazing and interesting people and other cultures. My first big trip was to Kazakhstan and I have this special fondness to this place and people from there. There are such beautiful landscapes and such hospitabel and warm people... I went hitchhiking from Warsaw to south of Spain, which was an amazing experience, I went to India and Nepal where I just couldnt believe that the wourld can be so colourful and so many people on one street... and such spicy food!brrr! I saw parrots in the forrest in Brazil... Well, and I saw Big Ben in London ;-) there are thousands amazing things you can do and see in the wourld
