About Me
I work as a translator which permits me to travel without having to stay in the same place for work — an opportunity I really appreciate and do my best to use it as much as possible.
Interests
I am interested in classical art and music (which doesn't mean I don't like contemporary pieces, though), I enjoy reading (my Master degree work was dedicated to literary theory) and learning different languages, so for me Couchsurfing is not only a way of getting to know new people and cultures and sharing experiences, but a conversational practice as well:)
I also like cooking and will gladly prepare some traditional Russian dishes for you.

Music, Movies, and Books
I adore baroque music (Monteverdi, Purcell, Bach etc.), but I also like postpunk, grunge, industrial, classical rock and so on.
Among my favourite film directors are Ingmar Bergman, Louis Buñuel, Jean-Luc Godard, Kira Muratova, Alexei German.
As for books, it is not that easy to list my preferred ones, 'cause they are too numerous.
