Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Agata. :) Currently I work as a software developer. But despite all of this I'm in fact an analog person. I like losing my smartphone somewhere and just explore some place. During summer my travels often revolve around less or more alternative music festivals. During cold months I spend my time at cinema or drinking warm tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm at the beginning of my travel adventure but I'd like to visit as many countries as I can but not in luxury hotels. I'd like to meet real culture of the place. Furthermore I would love to show foreigners my own city which I think is quite underrated.
Interests
My current hobbies are: exploring new music and food.
- music festivals
- alternative music
- radio
- information technology
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mac DeMarco, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Frank Ocean. I know these are not alternative musicians at all but still I like getting to know some new music.
Movies: all of Kieślowski. I admire Polish Film School. Recently I fell in love with "Isle of Dogs" and some other animated movies.
Books: My favorute writer is Stanisław Dygat. I'm interested in history of ordinary people's life in Polish People's Republic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I managed to organize small music festival on birthday of student radio station in which I work.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about polish culture. Poland is not a cold country with polar bears, we have amazing art here. I'd like to learn more about kindness of people around the world and to refute stereotypes. Let's share different life styles with each other. :)
