Hi everyone! I'm Agata, 34F from Poland living in the UK - looking forward to meeting both the locals and other travellers! :) I'll be visiting South Korea and Japan for the first time in April 2025 - I'd love to get a chance to explore these countries with someone who could provide a local’s perspective and share insights about their country (and recommend best food spots and prettiest cafes/teahouses), as well as meet up with other travellers and do the touristy and non-touristy stuff together :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to use CS more often when I was a student (I can share the link to my old profile if needed) as I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is by immersing myself in the local culture - I've met many truly wonderful people!
Sadly as I'm not able to be a host myself, I think it would be a bit unfair of me to request to be hosted by other people, so I mostly use CS to meet the locals and other travellers :)

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music: I mostly listen to rock music, but I enjoy to explore music by the artists from the countries I'll be visiting - recently I've been browsing some k-pop and Fujii Kaze, but all recommendations are more than welcome! :)
- Movies: I'm a big cinema fan and try to keep up with the new releases - my favourite movie of all time is Apocalypse Now
- Books: I read all sorts of stuff, both fiction and non-fiction
