About Me

I've been living in Cracow my whole life. I study IT at Cracow University of Science and Technology, mainly because I figured that working in IT would allow me to live anywhere in the world and travel whenever I want. Living in different country or at least city almost every year is probably my greatest goal. But since right now I can't really move because of my uni, I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, listening to music, watching films. I consider myself as an expert when it comes to movies like "Sharknado" or "Toxic Avenger", you know, all of these B movie horrors. I really enjoy cooking as well. Some even say I'm quite good at it. Oh, and I'm a total cat person. If this IT thing wouldn't work for me, I'll end up as an old cat lady. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason's simple - I love travelling, but usually it's expensive, especially when it comes to staying at the hotels. I'd like to visit countries I haven't been to, learn about other cultures, create new memories and maybe take a few photos, and, if it's possible, not spend my lifesavings on it. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I went through a lot of different phases looking for my favourite music genre - from heavy metal and rock to jazz or folk music. And apparently there's no such thing. I enjoy listening to almost every music, though for the past few months I've been spending a lot of time with indie rock.

I don't read as much as I'd wish to, I don't feel like I have enough time for it. I think last book I read was "The Trial" by Franz Kafka, after that I only opened books revolving around the subject of IT.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think couchsurfing would be a great opportunity for me to improve my English. Well, mainly my fluency in English actually, because I feel a bit self-conscious when I have to say anything. Probably practicing on actual foreigners would be helpful. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I mentioned, I enjoy cooking, so if only we'll have enough time I may cook you a nice dinner, or at least help you with it. If time would be against us, we could just spend some time talking, sharing experiences, sipping tea or beer. :)
