About Me
I'm probably just before early middle age crisis... 31 years old... working young professional who got now suddenly a bit older... I worked a lot recent years to owe a house, good car, newest smartphone and all what civilization requires. And now when I've already achieved it, I wish to change my life a bit. To live simplier, easier and nicer.
I try to work less and use the time I have for travelling and enjoying life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because of my genius younger sister! She told me about CS and because of her I spent great time with CS in Riga and Vilnius. So I decided to make my own account and continue CS adventure.
I think it gives much deeper insight into the place staying with the locals than just seeing the architecture from outside and drinking alone in the evening at a bar full of turists. The most interesting is who actually lives behind these walls and how...

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to more books than I actually read - I love audio books and I wouldn't be suprised if one day I will be awarded "client of the year" by audible. My recent top (audio)books: "Er ist wieder da" Timur Vermes, "From animals to gods" Yuval Harari, "One track mind" Abby Lee, "100-year-old who..." Jonas Jonasson, "The Hitmans Guide to housecleaning" Hallgrimur Helgason, "Man seeks god" Eric Weiner, "Sieben verdammt lange Tage" Jonathan Tropper...
I try to watch movies in the language I am currently learning. I watch from Russian series "межды нами девочками" to Spanish comedies like "8 apellidos vascos", basically everything. I do not like unnecessary violence and too much blood in the movies.
Concerning music usually I listen to the radio or audio books, so I am bad company to discuss about newest music albums.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Passing B2 Russian exam, I can't believe I really did and now I can officially say: I speak Russian!
