About Me
We are Agata and Jonatan, we are a couple from Poland.
AGATA: I was born in Kościan, a small town under Poznań. When I was young I was training running in sport club. I traveled from my child. At the begining with my parents and next with my friends. We traveled around Poland and Europe mainly by car. I started my adventure with hitchhiking when I took part in hitchhiking race from Poland to Italy and next year to Croatia. I studied in Poznań for 5 years and later I worked like a hearing aid specialist for one year.
JONATAN: I grew up in Połczyn Zdrój, where I am a volunteer firefighter. In high school times, the fire brigade took me a lot of free time. In the remaining parts I walked in the forests, rode a bike and walked the mountains. During my studies at Poznań University of Technology, I trained Capoeira, started riding a motorcycle and started traveling abroad.
We met in Poznań, Poland, where we both lived and studied.
We tried to travel together. We were, for example in Malta, Spain, around central Europe by motorcycle and in Lithuania by campervan. On our trips, we always have to tried meet local people and to check how life in this country looks like. But it was not enough for us.
Since the first day of our acquaintance, we talked about the big hitchhiking trip around the world, and now is time for it, together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are on Couchsurfing because for us contact with local people is very important in travel.
We want to personally check what differences in life are between Poland and other countries, also we want to tell people who were not in Poland, how beautiful this country is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is what is now happening. We left works, homes and families to see how the world is big for real.
We packed our backpacks and hitchhiked without a detailed plan. We often don't know where we will be in next week, and we don't know when we will back to Poland.
We think it is amazing!
