ABOUT ME

Janusz - I am a jack of all trades! I've finished acting school and started graphic studies now. I draw comics, play piano, learn history and practice martial arts. Agata is a monument-hungry conservator that looks like a 16-year old and likes chocolate a bit too much...
Agata - Yes I like chocolate more than anything else:) my second passion is work - bookbinding, conservation of old graphics and painting. In the summer time, I usually go painting with my friends. We visited wonderful places in Poland:)

PHILOSOPHY

J - a Buddhist who enjoys Shamanism workshops and pagan myths. My personal philosophy is very simple - don't be afraid of anything and smile when you can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

J - I moved to Łódź where I don't have much space but I can always find some time for a coffee and chat about the most interesting places, whether in Łódź or in Warsaw.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

J - I surfed a while ago on the Isle of Man and met some of the most interesting people in my life. Even the crazy ones were a while of peace between stormy nights under the tent.

Interests

J - I like old legends, ancient sacred places and classic computer games. As a mensa member, I have to be curious about lots of things :)
A - I like history of art, climbing and (like Janusz) computer games. As a conservator of grapic I can spend all night talking about old engravers:)

Music, Movies, and Books

J - movies? anything by Tarantino, Aronofsky, Nolan, any comic-based movies, horrors, fantasy, old movies... I had to watch a lot when I was studying. And had to read a lot of poems and classics. I like Hrabal, Cortazar, Eco, Chekhov, old myths and new comics! Music - Chopin, U2, Irish folk, rock and lots more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

J - I've travelled to Florence and Boulogne for a weekend... and the unspellable volcano blew up. I had to sleep at the airport for a week, it was awesome, someone tried to rob me. Later, back home I was running around on factory roofs while being chased by guards with flashlights. Don't drink and play assassins creed.

Teach, Learn, Share

J - I can talk for hours about myths and archetypes, religion or art. I can give advice about voice, acting or drawing. I could also teach some piano, guitar or self-defence tricks.
I've always wanted to learn survival skills - brewing soup from weeds or firemaking. And parkour.
A - I can teach history of art, painting, drawing and making books. I can give advice about making poster. I dream to learn how to sail.
