About Me

My boyfriend and I are an Indian-Polish couple who like to travel, but not always have many to. We love eating, and trying new dishes, unfortunately we are not the best cooks, so we won't prepare our traditional dishes for you - but my boyfriend can teach you, how to flavour food in the way to make every plain dish extraordinary!
We have met via the internet, so we strongly believe we can meet beautiful people and awesome hosts here ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy Polish music, so my favourite artists will be probably unknown for you (but I can, with a great pleasure, acquaint you with the best Polish songs), although I love also a few foregin singers, who SoKo is the most beloved from for me (and who has Polish roots, by the way...). Apart from this: The Lumineers, Mona Haydar, Manu Chao.
I love French humour, so I'm a big fan of the French comedies (like "Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au Bon Dieu?" or "Le sens de la fête"), but one of my favourite movies are also: "The Dreamers", "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" , "I, Tonya", "Great Gatsby" or classics like "Chinatown" or "Casablanca". Thanks to my boyfriend, I've started watching superhero movies, and, very suprisingly for me, had a lot of fun on "Avengers" and "Guardians of Galaxy". We happen to watch Indian movies either, but not these ones with singing and dancing after every 5 minutes (rather in a "My name is Khan" type). And I love cartoons, especially these made by Disney ;)
My favourite books are written by Polish authors or are about religious/social matters. The best literary period - because of its rationalism and putting a stress on human rights - is, in my opinion, positivism.
